I'd like to start a second RPG campaign, but I'm torn between two games: Gamma World and Lords of Creation. GW would clearly be the easier of the two to run, as it can be handled as post-apocalyptic D&D. LoC would be a harder sell for players, though I think I could get at least two.

Or maybe I'll punt and run a Savage Worlds minicampaign of some sort. Either way, I need to talk to Pat and find out his take on the situation.

Great minds think alike...Although I have been mulling running something for the past several years (I don't have the same enthusiasm I once had for GMing or playing)...lately I have been thinking of going "retro". Specifically, I had read Gamma World 1st Ed rulebook and was getting fired up to run it (GW1 Legion of Gold), but I just can't pull the trigger....Please run it and post your session summaries so I see what I'm missing by not running it..:) I have also been mulling over Savage Worlds, so I would be interested in your experiences with that as well.

I also whipped up some GW 1st Ed. cheat sheets for character creation and combat (I think). If you're interested in them drop me a line...

Game on,

Rich

Sorry about the double post above...I see you have "FlatCon" listed in your local gaming scene. Would you mind giving me a 5 minute review of it...I was thinking of driving down with a gaming buddy or two from Milwaukee, WI if it was a fun little con w/good rpgs/boardgaming action..

Thanks,

Rich
